Excellence will take centre stage as the Tshwane University of Technology celebrates its top graduates at the 5th Annual Chancellor’s Awards, scheduled to take place at The Blades Hotel, east of Pretoria, on 8 November 2025. This prestigious ceremony annually honours students who have achieved the highest academic distinctions in their Faculties, showcasing the very best of TUT talent.
The 2025 recipients include top performers from all seven Faculties:
- Faculty of Economics and Finance: Asiphile Mabeka – Advanced Diploma in Financial Management (Certified Financial Analyst)
- Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment: Mpho Ndou – Bachelor of Architecture
- Faculty of Humanities: Rose Mathole – Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching (Mathematics)
- Faculty of Information and Communication Technology: Andile Wiseman Nkalanga – Diploma in Computer Science
- Faculty of Management Sciences: Reakantse Shila – Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Faculty of Science: Zilke Heyns – Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology
- Faculty of Arts and Design: Mpho Masindi Mudau – Diploma in Interior Design

Faculty of Information and Communication Technology: Andile Wiseman Nkalanga – Diploma in Computer Science.

Faculty of Science: Zilke Heyns – Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology.
