A re Ageng ISRC Trust Fund
The A re Ageng Institutional Student Representative Council (ISRC) Trust Fund is a student-led initiative at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) dedicated to supporting students who face financial barriers that threaten their academic journey.
“A re Ageng” – meaning let us build ourselves – reflects a collective commitment to uplift one another and ensure that no deserving student is excluded due to financial hardship.
This Fund exists to restore dignity, remove registration barriers, and give students the opportunity to continue their studies and achieve their full potential.
Why the Trust Fund matters
Each year, academically capable and determined students are unable to register because of outstanding fees and financial constraints. For many, even a modest financial intervention can mean the difference between dropping out and graduating.
The A re Ageng ISRC Trust Fund:
- Assists students with outstanding debt to enable registration
- Supports academically deserving students in financial need
- Prioritises students from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds
- Promotes equitable access to higher education
Through collective generosity, we can help students remain in the system, complete their qualifications, and build sustainable futures.

Every contribution – whether big or small – directly supports students who are working hard to overcome financial obstacles.
