Soshanguve Digital Library
The Soshanguve South Digital Library is a transformative initiative of the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), designed to redefine access to knowledge, technology and opportunity for thousands of students.
Situated at one of TUT’s largest and historically disadvantaged campuses, this initiative seeks to create a modern, technology-enabled learning environment that will support teaching, research and innovation for years to come.
This is more than a library. It is a gateway to digital inclusion and academic success.
Why this matters
Thousands of students at the Soshanguve South Campus come from communities where access to reliable internet, safe study spaces and advanced digital resources is limited.
For many students, the campus library is not just a study venue; it is their primary access point to:

The new Digital Library will create a safe, accessible and future-focused environment where students can learn, innovate and thrive, including extended access facilities to ensure students have a secure place to study.
