Tshwane FM will commence its extensive coverage of the 2024 provincial and national elections on 24 April 2024, with the theme 'Mark Ur Future.' This campaign promotes the necessity of civic involvement as well as the power of each individual's voice in moulding our nation's destiny.

The election coverage launch will be marked by an election debate staged in collaboration with the Directorate of Student Governance and Leadership Development at TUT’s Pretoria campus, along with Bua Campus News. This partnership underscores the commitment of Tshwane FM to foster meaningful dialogues and encourage active participation in matters that impact our society.

Tshwane FM Station Manager, Tebogo Jacko Magubane, spoke on the station's readiness for the elections saying: "As we celebrate three decades of democracy in South Africa, Tshwane FM is proud to launch its 'Mark Ur Future' campaign. The campaign represents our commitment to encouraging young listeners to become educated, involved and proactive citizens. We hope that our election coverage and the ensuing discussion will provide a forum for many views and opinions, resulting in a more inclusive and democratic society."

The 'Mark Ur Future' campaign is more than simply political coverage; it represents a dedication to democratic principles, community involvement and youth empowerment. Tshwane FM calls on everyone to engage on the path of creating a better future via informed decision-making and active involvement in the political process.
