Seven Tshwane University of Technology Engineering Honours students have been selected to participate in the Cross Mobility Programme, a student exchange initiative supported by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs through the French Embassy in South Africa.
These students will spend the next five months at the University Gustave Eiffel in Paris, as part of the F’SATI programme, where they’ll be learning and expanding their expertise in their respective fields. This opportunity allows them to gain valuable international experience and broaden their academic horizons.
The students met the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Mr Buti Manamela at the South African Embassy in Paris to kickstart their journey.
The seven, Mogwera Agisanang Palesa and Maimela Percy Ngoanakgwete (both Mechanical Engineering); Mampane Komotso Fortune, Sikhosana Luthando Bongiwe and Tripathi Shivendra Nath (all Electrical Engineering); Nicoly Goaotswe Ernest Mogopodi and Mkhumbini Ababalwe (both Civil Engineering), will return to South Africa in January 2025.
