The new multi-purpose hall at the TUT Ga-Rankuwa Campus.
Equipped with state-of-the-art features, the hall accommodates more than 970 people and is ideal for hosting events and public gatherings such as graduation ceremonies, examinations, conferences, workshops and public lectures.
Dr Elikanah Lumadi, Interim Rector at the Ga-Rankuwa Campus said: “There is big excitement about having our own big multi-purpose hall on campus. We are counting a few hours to the great reveal and we celebrate this momentous occasion together with surrounding communities.”
“This building will enhance the student value proposition on the campus and will allow us to do even more to create a vibrant student life. All graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Finance can now look forward to graduating on campus,” said Dr Lumadi.
The Ga-Rankuwa Campus is home to the TUT Faculty of Economics and Finance. As well as boasting one of the highest student success rates among its peers, the faculty hosts an innovative annual tax clinic session during which its tax experts offer free tax advice to staff, students and the general public. Over the years, the Faculty of Economics and Finance has earned the right to be counted among the best providers of economic and finance education in the country and in the continent.
