Good news for those who have not yet applied, the closing date has been extended to 15 March 2025.

TUT – whose research projects are aligned to industry needs and demands – also provides internally funded scholarships to qualifying Master’s and Doctoral students.

Dr Vathi Papu-Zamxaka, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Engagement, said TUT’s programme offering at Master’s and Doctoral level prepares students for the world of work and are in high demand by industry.

“Through our Senate Committee for Research and Innovation, we put aside funds annually for TUT scholarships. This demonstrates our commitment to postgraduate studies at TUT,” Dr Papu-Zamxaka explained.

“Come study at TUT for a postgraduate qualification and you are sure to be a graduate that is aligned to the world of work. You will not only be relevant to industry, but you will be equipped with entrepreneurial skills which enable job creation, thereby your contribution to the economy of our continent,” she said. “TUT prepares future-ready graduates.” she added.

Dr Papu-Zamxaka said if you are determined, agile, hungry for knowledge and want to make an impact in society through research, look no further than TUT for your Master’s and Doctoral studies.

Applications are open until 15 March 2025. Registration closes on 31 March 2025. However, admitted students are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
