The Department of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship at the Tshwane University of Technology hosted a successful Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Readiness Workshop for final-year students on 16 May 2025 at the Prestige Auditorium. Organised by lecturer, Landiwe Manana, the event Themed “Navigating the World of Work” (#NWW), aimed at equipping students with essential skills and knowledge required to transition smoothly into the workplace.

In his welcoming address, Dr Patrick Ebewo, Head of the Centre of Entrepreneurship, underscored the value of learning from industry veterans. He highlighted that such interactions help prepare students to conduct themselves with confidence and competence in professional settings.

Prof Ndivhuwo Tshipala, Assistant Dean at the Faculty of Management Sciences, reiterated the purpose of the WIL programme - to ensure students adapt seamlessly to workplace environments after graduation. “The Faculty of Management Sciences currently boasts a WIL pass rate of 89%, but we aim for 100%,” he said, encouraging students to uphold the University’s standards during their WIL placements across the country.
