With immense pride, the Faculty of ICT (FoICT) congratulates a Computer Science student, Kearabetswe Tau, for receiving the prestigious Chancellor’s Award in November 2023. In the quick-paced field of information and communication technology (ICT), where innovation shapes the future, Kearabetswe's incredible journey through the complex world of technology has not only established a standard, but is also an example of commitment, perseverance and intellectual ability.

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) celebrated and recognised top academics and researchers at a special function, which took place on 29 November 2023. Some exceptional administrative and service staff were also recognised.

To congratulate and recognise the tremendous work of these TUT staff members, the VC and Principal, read out a letter which he wrote to TUT academics. Amongst other things he said,

A compelling and thought-provoking research day, "Promoting Impactful Research for the Good of Society”, was hosted by the Faculty of Humanities at the Soshanguve South Campus, late in November 2023.
