About Exams
All examinations and other assessments are conducted in terms of the provision of the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 101 of 1997), and the Statutes of TUT, and in accordance with TUT’s rules and regulations. Student who does not comply with these rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action.
We provide service and information to students regarding the examination schedule, timetable, enquiries (result enquiry, re-mark, insight, re-check) and special circumstances examinations (aegrotat, special, exit). Students who qualify for supplementary examinations cannot apply for such an examination.
The two major examinations take place in June and November respectively. Examinations are held at different campuses and venues across the University and off site. Examination venues are communicated on individual timetables.
